Shift opens at Art Expression with a new look!
For those of you who could not make it to our reception for Suzanne Clements, I'd like to share some photos and comments about the evening....
First of all, Mother Nature gave us absolutely delightful weather! Low humidity, cooler temperatures, and just a slight breeze.
In preparation for the event, both the featured artist and myself worked on transforming the gallery by changing the color from the bold red it has been for 2 years to a metallic turquoise in the front window and main gallery and a nice toasty brown in the recessive areas which sets the turquoise off nicely!
Attendees who turned out enjoyed light refreshments and chatting with Suzanne. The gallery was abuzz with uwwws and ahhhhs over Clement's most recent creations, her new found passion TTV (through the viewfinder) photography, which received kudos from all her devotees as well as newcomers!
In addition to the Suzanne Clements opening at Art Expressions, Highland avenue was bustling with other activity including the grand opening of Fritz Van Eden's gallery, and Jazz Friday in the Eau Gallie Square! We do look forward to seeing you for the next First Friday happening on December 7th!
